Whole-cashew retail pouches
A retail pack for whole cashew kernels needs enough usable space to present the selected grade without forcing kernels into the closing band. Compare a conventional stand-up pouch with a shaped zipper format, using the actual fill to review the viewing area, shelf footprint and first-opening experience.
- Size & capacity
- Measure the actual kernel fill after it settles. Mark the usable cavity, opened bottom gusset and zipper position separately; leave the final top-seal allowance visible on the drawing for approval.
- Material brief
- Discuss the required protection against moisture, oxygen and aroma changes with the proposed layer construction. Assess clear and opaque areas separately, and validate the chosen pack with the intended cashew product.
- Artwork & print
- Identify kernel grade and fill variant clearly. Position the viewing window around the settled contents, and keep small text away from the zipper, gusset and seal bands.
- Packing & handling
- Review opening, pouring and reclosing with representative kernels. Pack the approved sale units into the proposed outer carton and inspect presentation and kernel condition after the intended handling exercise.
